The cottage was incredibly cosy and spacious, exceeding our expectations. We were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine, shortbread, and a personal card from the owner. The scuttle of coal provided for the fire was a thoughtful touch. The cottage had a beautiful extension with a walk-in shower and a bedroom with patio doors leading to the garden. The kitchen diner was perfect for family time, with patio door access to a large walled garden. The garden furniture was plentiful, tasteful, and well positioned. The separate dining room allowed for proper dining experiences. The nearby Steam Packet Inn had a warm and friendly ambiance, exceptional food, and great drinks. The location of the cottage was ideal for exploring the Isle of Whithorn and nearby attractions. The garden was beautiful and well-kept, and we enjoyed using the BBQ despite the weather sometimes not cooperating. Norma and the team were excellent hosts, providing great communication and thoughtful treats upon our arrival.

We recently stayed at a lovely cottage in a picturesque location. The cottage was spacious and cozy, perfect for our family of four and our dog. We enjoyed the beautiful views of the harbour and the sea from the front and the hills from the back. The garden was well-kept and fully enclosed, providing a great space for us and our furry friend. The cottage was an ideal base for exploring the area, with plenty of nearby attractions and activities. The nearby Steam Packet Inn was a family favorite, offering delicious meals and great service. We also enjoyed relaxing at the cottage, reading in the comfortable sitting room and dining together in the kitchen. The communication with the hosts was excellent, and we were welcomed with some treats upon arrival. we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this cottage to others.
